The Vanier CGS no longer accepts applications and has been replaced by the Canada Graduate Research Scholarship – Doctoral (CGRS D). International applicants may apply to CGRS D only if already enrolled in a doctoral programme at an eligible Canadian institution by the application deadline; up to 15% of awards are available to international applicants.
