Eligibility
International applicants can apply. A limited number (up to 30%) of UKRI fully funded studentships are available to international applicants; visa, healthcare surcharge and relocation costs are not covered by those studentships. Applicants normally need at least an upper-second-class honours degree or international equivalent in a relevant discipline. The programme particularly seeks engineering/science backgrounds, strong programming skills and prior knowledge/experience with contemporary AI techniques; relevant skills gained through employment may also be considered. A case study/research statement is mandatory; a nominated supervisor and conventional PhD proposal are not required.
